I am a semi-retired teacher, writer, editor, and voice recording artist splitting my time between my home in Ohio and my adopted home in Taiwan. I taught English as a second language in Taiwan for many years before turning to writing and editing for several magazines and publishing companies. Part of my job for the publishing companies involved editing and recording educational and promotional materials aimed at learners of English.

I have a wide range of interests, am a voracious reader, a certified clinical hypnotherapist and hypnosis trainer, computer adict, chess nut, am semi-fluent in Mandarin Chinese, and am always looking for new interests.

I hope to, over time, master the art of writing for profit on the internet and plan to submit dozens, if not hundreds, of articles on a wide variety of topics on Hub Pages and other platforms in the coming months and years.
